JABU MAHLANGU

Jabu Mahlangu (formerly known as Jabu Pule and commonly known as Ngwana wa Tshwenya) is a South African soccer player and actor who made 20 appearances for the South African national football team from 2000 to 2004 and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup and at the 2000 Olympic Games.

He played for a variety of football clubs – SV Mattersburg, SuperSport United, Orlando Pirates, Östers IF and F.C. Cape Town – but was best known for playing at his first club, Kaizer Chiefs.

In 2013 he made his acting debut in the recurring role of Pule, a has-been soccer star who now works as a hair stylist and shampoo boy, in the Mzansi Magic sitcom Samsokolo.
