Lillian is Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive at Barclays Africa Group, Ltd. where she is responsible for providing operational support and strategic advice to the CEO and Deputy CEO, managing their priorities, and ensuring the organization’s many cross-functional initiatives are managed efficiently and effectively.
She has over 16 years of international experience and thought leadership in managing multi-million dollar commercial partnerships in various industries, and for some of the world’s largest corporations including the Lockheed Martin Corporation, IBM, Eskom and now Barclays Africa Group Ltd. As a respected industry expert in Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics, she is the Chairperson for the CIPS South Africa. She also serves on the boards of other private companies where she advises Small and Medium sized enterprises on strategy and doing business in Africa. She is passionate advocate for literacy programs in Africa, and developing talented women in leadership; As the Chairperson of the March of Pens Foundation – a registered charitable non-profit based out of Washington, DC – she helps to equip rural schools with essential school supplies. She mentors young women and speaks often in forums aimed at empowering and promoting women in leadership. Lillian holds a BSc. In Business Strategy and an MBA from the University of Maryland, Masters in Laws from University of London, is a certified Master of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. She is also a Fellow of the International Women’s Forum Leadership Foundationan extraordinary global network that provides exposure and access to a broad and diverse audience of female decision-makers, through visionary programs that aim to positively impact world business, markets, communities, culture and ecosystems.
